Global trade wars are impacting air freight demand, according to IATA

Global trade has witnessed its ninth consecutive month of year-on-year decline in freight volumes, which IATA has put down to raging trade wars.



IATA has released data for global air freight markets which reveals that demand, measured in freight tonne kilometres (FTKs), contracted by 3.2 per cent in July 2019, compared to the same period in 2018.
