World Trade Center Miami and U.S. Customs and Border Protection host “International Trade Day” durin

Featuring workshops designed to inform importers on the latest rules and regulations and a business assistance area with 20 regulatory agencies and business organizations.

MIAMI, FL - International Trade Day will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Port Miami 1265 N. Cruise Blvd, Terminal E 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. World Trade Center Miami and U.S. Customs and Border Protection have organized 8 workshops designed to inform importers and exporters on the latest rules and regulations. Speakers include CBP’s top specialists and leading officials from various regulatory agencies.

  • Import Requirements for Agriculture Products

  • Plant Inspection Station and Live Propagative Plants

  • Import and Export Activities for Live Animals

  • Overview of United States Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) Office of Law Enforcement

  • BP HQs - Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT)

  • Antidumping and Countervailing Duty (AD/CVD) What Every Importer Should Know

  • Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Import Operations: How FDA Regulates Imported Products

  • Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) –What The Trade Needs To Know

International Trade Day will also feature a business assistance area with 20 regulatory agencies and business organizations offering assistance to participants and answering your questions!

Miami World Trade Week, May 21-25, 2018, is organized by a committee of over 20 organizations in Greater Miami who work together to showcase the importance of international trade, logistics, services and port operations to the South Florida economy. The committee uses its collective expertise to increase two-way trade for the region. The Committee developed a series of events designed to assist small and medium size companies to enter the international trade arena, expand their business and identify new clients. The ultimate objective is to promote Miami and Florida as the “Trade & Logistics Hub of the Americas”.
