PORT DIRECTORS TO ADDRESS MIAMI’S INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS
EXECUTIVES AT THE 26th ANNUAL STATE-OF-THE-PORTS BRIEFING
HOSTED BY THE WORLD TRADE CENTER MIAMI
Miami, FL – Aviation Director José Abreu and Port Director Bill Johnson will brief Miami-Dade County’s international business community on the economic impact of Miami International Airport and PortMiami in 2012, and will forecast Miami’s trade growth in terms of best import/export markets for 2013.
Additionally José Abreu will provide an update on the construction projects completed during 2012, the projects scheduled for 2013 and the impact of these improvements on global trade growth and on maintaining Miami’s position as the “Trade and Logistics Center of the Americas.” Bill Johnson will provide a progress report on port improvements and on PortMiami’s trade diversification efforts.
Over 1,200 executives are expected to attend the briefing, which is hosted by the World Trade Center Miami, PortMiami and the Miami-Dade Aviation Department.
