25th Annual State-of-the-Ports Briefing PORT DIRECTORS TO ADDRESS MIAMI’S INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS Miami, FL – Aviation Director José Abreu and Port Bill Johnson will brief Miami-Dade County’s international business community on the economic impact of Miami International Airport and the Port of Miami in 2011, and will forecast Miami’s trade growth in terms of best import/export markets for 2012. Additionally José Abreu will provide an update on the construction projects completed during 2011, the projects scheduled for 2012 and the impact of these improvements on global trade growth and on maintaining Miami’s position as the “Trade and Logistics Center of the Americas.” Bill Johnson will provide a progress report on port improvements and on the Port of Miami’s trade diversification efforts. Over 1,200 executives are expected to attend the briefing, which is hosted by the World Trade Center Miami, the Port of Miami-Dade and the Miami-Dade Aviation Department.
